Monoblocks

Cooling & heating without an outdoor unit

Why choose monoblocks?

  • No outdoor unit: ideal with VME/heritage rules or no place on the facade.
  • Quickly and neatly installed: two discreet facade penetrations, no piping or breaking work.
  • More energy efficient and quieter than "mobile air conditioners with hose".
  • Also heating: pleasant mid-season heat without starting up central heating.
  • Sleek appearance: flat indoor unit, discreet outdoor grille.

When are monoblocks ideal?

  • Apartment, row house or facade where an outdoor unit is not allowed/cannot be used.
  • One specific space: bedroom, office, studio, attic room, practice room.
  • Renovation or temporary setup where you don't want channels.
  • Rental properties: low impact, aesthetically pleasing and easy to remove/relocate (project dependent).

When better something else?

  • Very large open living spaces or cooling/heating multiple rooms simultaneously.
  • Spaces with high internal heat loads (large glass areas, server corner).
  • Those who find silence extremely critical at the bed head end → choose placement outside the immediate sleep zone or an alternative system.

Important to know

  • Monoblocks do not ventilate: they condition the indoor air. For healthy air, combine best with decentralized ventilation (without ductwork).
  • Maintenance is easy: clean filters 2-3× per year; no expensive maintenance contract required.
  • We determine on site the correct capacity and location (wall thickness, facade, power point, condensate drain).

In short: monoblocks give you comfort per room - cooling AND supplemental heating - with no outdoor unit, no breaking, with a sleek look and low maintenance cost.
